【第6回 ロシア国立パステル協会 国際審査展】The 6th Juried NPS Exhibition 2021 Summer Web Show にて、
私の作品「雨上がりの午後 - After the Rain」が入選いたしました。
本展は、パステル画に特化した展示会で、日本では珍しいかもしれません…
が、パステルは、海外ではとてもメジャーな画材のひとつなのです。
（今回、500の作品、17か国からのエントリーがあったそうです）
パステル画の世界では、各国・地域に存在するパステル画の団体・協会をまとめている
「International Association of Pastel Societies (通称 IAPS) 」🌐
という国際協会があります。
現在、IAPSに所属している団体は世界で約80。そのひとつが「ロシア国立パステル協会（NPS）」🇷🇺です。
日本にもパステル画団体はいくつかありますが、残念ながらIAPSに所属している団体はありません…。
今回、親友のロシア人アーティスト👩🎨が「Masafumi,この審査展に応募してみない？」と誘ってくれたことがきっかけです。
条件が、ロシア国立パステル協会のメンバーじゃなくても可、海外からの参加も可、だったので、ぜひ！と応募しました。
もちろん、ロシア語は読めない💦ので、日本語や英語に翻訳しながら、また、親友に質問しながら、なんとか応募フォームを作成しました✏️
初めての、パステル画に特化した国際公募展。
海外のパステル画は非常にクオリティが高く、自身の結果は全く予想できませんでしたが、何とか入選することが出来ました。
受賞者の方々の作品は「さすが！」のクオリティです。おめでとうございます。

My work "After the Rain" was selected at the [The 6th Juried NPS Exhibition 2021 Summer Web Show].
This exhibition specializes in pastel paintings and is not a rare exhibition in Japan
...
However, pastel is one of the major painting materials overseas.
(This show, there were 500 works entries from 17 countries.)
In the world of pastel painting, there is an international association
called, "International Association of Pastel Societies (commonly known as IAPS)"
IAPS is organizing many pastel painting groups and associations that exist in each country and region.
Currently, there are about 80 organizations in the world that belong to IAPS. One of them is the "National Pastel Society of Russia (NPS)".
There are several pastel painting groups in Japan, but unfortunately none of them belong to IAPS ...
This time, my best friend, a Russian artist, invited me, "Masafumi, why don't you apply for this exhibition?"
The conditions were that you do not have to be a member of the NPS, and you can participate from overseas, so "Yes! I do!."
Of course, I can't read Russian, so I managed to create an application form while translating it into Japanese and English and asking my best friend.
It was my first experience to try international open call exhibition specializing in pastel paintings.
The quality of overseas pastel paintings was very high, and although I couldn't predict my own results, I was able to be accepted.
The works of the award winners are Amazing! Congratulations!
I would like to thank the Jurors of this exhibition,

I will continue to pursue my own world and aim for higher heights! (I will do my best for treatment of my illness, too)
